Geneva M. Day (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Geneva M. Day (Bishop) 96, passed peacefully Monday, March 10, 2025, in Moline, Illinois. Born in Phillipsburg, Missouri and lately of Bettendorf and Leclaire, Iowa, she was a housewife and mother of four.
Geneva was preceded in death by her parents, Rado and Lela Bishop; two siblings, Gladys and Howard; her husband, Ralph “Jack” Day; and two children, Janice and Robert. She is survived by sons Russell (Judy) Day of Moline, Illinois and Warren Day of Lebanon, MO; and one sister, Gertrude Jeter also of Lebanon MO. She also leaves behind many grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17, 2025 in the Lonesome Hill Cemetery near Phillipsburg, MO. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Monday at the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo.
