Geneva Jackson's Obituary
Geneva Isabelle Jackson, daughter of Archie Lyle and Melvina Lorene (Owings) Stone was born April 26, 1931 near Fordland in Webster County, Missouri. She departed this life Tuesday, August 24, 2010 in Glenwood Healthcare In Seymour, Missouri at the age of seventy-nine years, three months and twenty-eight days.
On September 20, 1953 she was united in marriage to Joe Arnold Jackson and to this union one daughter and three sons were born.
Geneva was preceded in death by her parents; her infant daughter, Nancy Ann; and four brothers, Louis, Lyle, Steve, and Robert Stone.
She is survived by her loving husband, Joe, of the home; three sons, Thomas E. Jackson of Rogersville, Missouri, Timothy E. Jackson and his wife, Lila, and Mark A. Jackson and his wife, Barbara, all of Fordland, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Melissa, Jennifer, Brian, Jason, Daniel, Sara, LaShae, and Brittany; twelve great-grandchildren; three brothers, Leonard Stone and his wife, Shirley of Fordland, Missouri, Charlie Stone and his wife, Edna, of Springfield, Missouri, and Lincoln Stone of Rogersville, Missouri; two sisters, Mary Fields and her husband, Rue, of Rogersville, Missouri and Lela Schau and her husband, Les, of O'Fallon, Illinois; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.
Services are 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 28, 2010 in Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Seymour, Missouri with burial in Fordland Cemetery, Fordland, Missouri under direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Seymour. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m., Friday (8/27/10) in the funeral home.
