Geneva Kladt's Obituary
Geneva (Neva) Pauline Manes Kladt, long-time resident of Bolivar, Missouri, died on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Colonial Springs Healthcare Center, Buffalo, Missouri, following a long illness.
She was born on April 24, 1922 in Violet, Missouri, the daughter of Walter Sidney and Edith Ressie Skinner Manes.
She was married on December 8, 1945 to Elmer (Al) Edward Kladt. She attended Mt. Etna Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Walter Sidney Manes and Edith Ressie Skinner Manes; her husband, Al Kladt, her son, Larry Alan Kladt; four sisters, Dorothy Manes, Gladys Manes, Lela Barber and Edith Price; two brothers, Homer Manes and Robert Manes.
She is survived by two daughters, Lynna Roller and her husband, Freddie, of Springfield, Missouri and Kay Morris and her husband, Wayne of Louisburg, Missouri; a brother, Gene Manes and his wife, Beverly, of Bolivar; two sisters, Opal Hamby of Loveland, Colorado; and Erma Payne of Springfield, Missouri; two grandchildren, Lynnea Roller of Springfield, and William (Bill) Roller, of Portland, Oregon; and two great-grandchildren, Mason Roller and Moses Carbin of Jefferson City.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Colonial Springs Healthcare Center, P.O. Box 978 (Special Care Unit - Activities) in Buffalo, Missouri 65622.
Friend may call at their convenience at the Butler Chapel from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Thursday, December 22, 2011 for viewing.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the Butler Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Matt Canaday from the River Of Life Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, Rogersville, MO officiating. Burial will be in the Payne Cemetery at Polk. Casketbearers will be Mason Roller, Jay Price, Bill Payne, Sid Manes, Charlie Cook, and Gene Manes. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar.
