George Bailey's Obituary
George Robert Bobby Bailey, age 52 of Bolivar, Missouri passed away suddenly on Friday, December 25, 2009 at Citizen's Memorial Hospital. He was born May 25, 1957 in Buffalo, Missouri to George E. Bailey and Dottie Mae Junkins Bailey. He was employed as a mechanic for Payne Implement for 34 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family. George is survived by his two brothers, Delbert E. Bailey and his wife Karen of Brighton, Missouri, Charles W. Bailey and his wife Dana of Springfield, Missouri, two sisters, Linda Cornell and her husband Neal of Bolivar, Missouri, Nancy Ann Murphey and her husband Pat of Flemington, Missouri, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri with Reverend Gray Nordan officiating. Musical selections will be Wings Of A Dove, When I Get Where I'm Going, and The Dance. Burial will follow in Payne Cemetery near Polk, Missouri. Visitation will be from 5-7pm, Monday evening at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Bernard Krtek, Tommy Sokolik, Nathaniel McKnight, Paul McKnight, Steve Giffin and Jeremy Giffin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rex Krtek and Don Jump. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3322 S. Campbell, Suite P, Springfield, Missouri 65807.
