OUR SYMPATHY & PRAYERS FOR YOUR LOSS .
When my Father bough the funeral home in Seymour (1946)George was always helpful in keeping the automobiles running. It was a pleasure buying gas to see his friendly smile. In 1946 George was one of the best looking and outstanding gentleman in the area. This was still true over his aging years.
I worked with George at the bank for 12 years and always looked up to him. He always looked after me as one of his own and even after his retirement, I was always happy to see him in town and stop and visit with him.
My Uncle George-can't begin to tell you how proud I always was when people asked me about George Loveland Sr., to tell them he was my uncle. He had movie star looks and a voice that would make Gregory Peck envious, and make a wolverine purr! I'll always love and never forget Uncle George as long as I live, but I'll always miss him. I'm George's sister (Iona "Fern")granddaughter. I only meet George a couple of times (at Loveland's family reunions & one time at Cedars Restaurant). I remember him as a quite but joyful man. Anytime Loveland's gathered you could always feel such love. My thoughts are with you.
