George Matuszek (Seymour)'s Obituary
George Matuszek “Infamous”
George Matuszek, son of Lidia and the late Jan Matuszek, departed this earthly life on Sunday, May 31, 2015, at his home in Seymour, Missouri. George was thirty-seven years, two months and nine days young at the time of his passing. One of three children, he was born on March 22, 1978, in Trinec, Czech Republic, and moved to the United States as a child.
Affectionately known as “Gigi” to his family and close friends, George was well-loved and had never met a stranger. He was loud, crazy, and so much fun to be with. His favorite past-times included working on cars and traveling the world with his wife. George lived big and loved bigger. He was most passionate about his family and was often the first to come running when any of them was in need of support. Together he and his wife built a successful, growing business that also gave back to their community by providing not just jobs, but what felt like a home to young men looking for direction.
George was preceded in death by his father, Jan Matuszek. He leaves behind his wife, Heidi Matuszek, of the home in Seymour; his two daughters, Leah and Faye Matuszek; brother, Mark Matuszek and wife, Erika, of Orlando, Florida; sister, Katcha Matuszek of Texas; mother, Lidia Matuszek of Marshfield, Missouri; dear family friends, Jerry and Lola Fry, of Seymour; and extended family and dear friends across the country.
Memorials may be made to the Matuszek Girls and left at the funeral home.
