George Stokes (Lebanon)'s Obituary
George B. Stokes was born April 21, 1954 in Cottonwood, Idaho to Max and Lois Hill Stokes. He departed this life Wednesday, October 29, 2025 in his home in Lebanon, Missouri at the age of seventy-one years, six months and eight days.
George grew up in California and graduated from high school there. In 2008 he moved to Missouri where he worked in restaurants as a cook.
He enjoyed wood carving and spending time with the farm animals. He also enjoyed watching westerns on television and reading westerns.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Max and Lois; his step-father, Bill Grace; his loving wife, Seita Stokes; his brothers, Richard Stokes, Robert Grace and Thomas Grace.
George is survived by his siblings, Merle Stokes of Lebanon, Missouri, Don Stokes and his wife Linda of Felton, California and Donna Carter and her husband Robert; a special niece, Samantha Worley and her husband Michael; a great-niece, Destiney Stokes and a great-nephew, Shawn Worley.
As we honor George Stokes, we celebrate a life well lived and a love for his family. George’s memory will be treasured in the hearts of his family, friends, and the lives he touched.
