George Victor (Seymour) Jr.'s Obituary
George Victor, Jr, age 95 passed away Saturday December 17, 2016 in his home.
George was born July 14, 1921 in Prescott, Iowa the son of George Matthew and Laura Helen (Mudra) Victor. He graduated from Prescott High School in 1938 and served his country in the Army Air Corp. George married Doris Marie Higgins in Wilson, Kansas in 1949 and to this union four children were born.
George was always a farmer but was employed for many years with the Land ‘O Lakes company from which he retired. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Seymour, MO as well as the VFW.
Survivors include his loving wife Doris of the home; 3 sons George E. Victor and wife Barbara of Topeka, Kansas, Dennis E. Victor and wife Stephanie of Hamlin, Texas and Stephen D. Victor and wife Valerie of Ashland, Oregon; a daughter Laurie Victor of Seymour, MO as well as 10 grandchildren 15 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
George was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Robert Victor and a sister Marjorie Schmoll .
