Georgiana Arrigoni (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Georgiana Lou Arrigoni, daughter of Charles Neal and Dorothy Lyons Roberts, was born September 24, 1938, in Los Angeles, California. She departed this life Sunday, July 29, 2012, in Mercy Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-three years, ten months, and five days.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond R. Arrigoni; and a sister, Ruth.
Georgiana is survived by two sons, Michael Arrigoni, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Ronald Arrigoni, of the State of California; a daughter, Judith Thorney, of the State of Oregon; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Carol Ray, of Houston, Texas; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in California, and then continued to make her home there for many years. She was a devoted homemaker to her husband and a loving mother to her children.
Georgiana had made her profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Port Hueneme Assembly of God Church.
In her spare time she loved music and particularly enjoyed songs by Frank Sinatra and Andy Williams. She enjoyed watching movies and especially liked westerns and musicals. One of her favorite musicals, that she often watched, was The Sound of Music. She also liked growing roses and was an avid reader. Her family was very important to her and she greatly enjoyed time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Georgiana was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them throughout the years.
