She was born in Arkansas and moved to the St. Louis area at age 18. In 1977, she moved to Egypt, Arkansas and later to Oklahoma for several years. She became a licensed beautician at the age of 27 and was licensed in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Missouri and kept her license active up to the day of her passing. Georgie had made a profession of faith in Christ many years ago and was of the Pentecostal/Full Gospel faith. In her spare time, she was a nurturer of lost dogs and cats, a worry wart of her children and grandchildren and loved to play gospel music on her guitar. Georgie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and a caring neighbor and friend. She was a head strong woman and when she made up her mind to do something (right or wrong) she did it. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will always cherish the special times we had together.
