Gerald B Fuller (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Mr. Gerald Buell Fidler, age 80 of Morrisville, Missouri passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2012.
He was born August 20, 1931, the son of Buell Fidler and Elizabeth B. (Sheridan) Fidler.
On May 5, 1951 he married Barbara Ann Ridgeway in Miami, Oklahoma.
Gerald was a Professional Pilot working for Major Airlines and also Private Jets. He also flew Cargo Planes and Helicopters. He and his wife rebuilt old aircraft and won awards at air shows for the aircraft. He was also a very skilled airplane mechanic. He served in the United States Marines during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Coral Gables Methodist Church in Coral Gables, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sandra Barnes.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Fidler of the home, three daughters, Tina Marie Fidler of Morrisville, Missouri, Belinda Smith and her husband Sonny of Madisonville, Tennessee and Choy Ann Soliz and her husband Philip of Lake City, Florida, three grandsons, two great granddaughters, one brother, Rodney Fidler and his wife Carol of Ft. Myers, Florida and a sister, Linda Lee Hodges of Sara Sota, Flordia.
No services will be held at this time. Gerald’s wish was to have cremation.
