Gerald Stout's Obituary
Gerald Dewayne Stout, son of William L. and Bessie Pearl Ivey Stout, was born March 16, 1956, in Portland, Indiana. He departed this life Saturday, July 31, 2010, in St. John?s Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of fifty-four years, four months, and fifteen days. On September 5, 1975, he was united in marriage to Terrey Ann Webb, and together they shared the last thirty-four years. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bill Stout; and a half-sister, Cheryl. Gerald is survived by his wife, Terrey, of the home; two daughters, Candice Gibbs, and her husband, Bobby, and Ashley Farris, and her husband, Zach, all of Lebanon, Missouri; a son, Isham Stout, and his wife, Belinda, of Lebanon, Missouri; five grandchildren, Trystan Stout, Keeton Gibbs, Nathan Gibbs, Mason Farris, and Gage Stout; his step-mother, Lillian Stout, of the State of Georgia; two brothers, Sterling Stout, of Marshfield, Missouri, and Harold Stout, and his wife, Joan, of the State of Indiana; three half-sisters, Susan, Jewell, and Jessica; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Shorty, as he was often called by his family and friends, was born in Indiana and raised in the Lebanon, Missouri area. After he and Terrey were married, they made their home in Lebanon, and lovingly raised their family. Throughout the years, Gerald had worked as a truck driver and had also worked for Crowder Plumbing in Lebanon for a few years. Gerald professed his faith in Christ early in his life and followed the Baptist beliefs. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, playing darts, and riding motorcycles. His family was very important to him and he especially enjoyed his grandchildren. Gerald was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that his family and friends will treasure the wonderful memories he made for them throughout the years.
