Geraldine H. Lindermyer (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Geraldine Helen Lindermyer, daughter of Huston R. and Opal McDonald Case, was born August 13, 1937, in Brandsville, Missouri. She departed this life Tuesday, July 27, 2021, in Lebanon North Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of eighty-three years, eleven months, and fourteen days.
On April 1, 1977, she was united in marriage to Louie Lindermyer and they shared the last forty-four years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a step-son, Eddie; and two sisters.
Geraldine is survived by her loving husband, Louie, of the home; two daughters, Jane Langston, and her husband, Kenneth, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Suzanne Matthews, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; a son, Dale Love, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Brandsville community and graduated from high school there. She lived most of her adult years in Independence, Missouri, where she worked as a secretary for the Kansas City Fire Department. After she and Louie were married, she was always a devoted homemaker to her husband and family. They made their home in Lebanon, Missouri for the last several years.
She liked being outdoors where she enjoyed growing a garden, raising beautiful flowers and fly fishing at Bennett Spring State Park. She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed having time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Geraldine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and was a caring friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will hold tight to the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
