Gertie will always have a special place in my heart...as will Walter. They were always so loving and generous to our family. I remember my dad teaching Gertie to drive after Walter passed away. When she pulled into the parking spot she pulled back on the steering wheel and said "whoa!". I cherish the time we spent at her house on Clark Street. I loved running into her at Wal-Mart and visiting with her. She was truly an angel and will be greatly missed.
