Lebanon lost one of its best known residents. Gilbert Adkins, Jr., 69, Lebanon City Councilman and area businessman, passed away at his home. Adkins career spanned several decades where he worked in the insurance profession and for the last 10 years served as Regional Outreach Administrator for Missouri State University Central Region Campus. He was a major promoter for the City of Lebanon and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Lebanon Rotary Club and various other organizations throughout the years.
