Gilligan Scotty Lawson (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Gilligan “Scotty” Lawson was born September 25, 1971 in Lebanon, Missouri to Robert and Alice Smith Lawson. He was the youngest of seven children. Scotty passed away in his home on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.
He is survived by his partner, Mary; a daughter, Melissa Adams; two brothers, Jerry Lawson of Springdale, Arkansas and Robert Lawson of Lebanon, Missouri; three sisters, Edna Barber of Eldridge, Missouri and Edith Thompson of West Fork, Arkansas and Linda Williams of Oregon; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins who all love him very much and will miss him dearly.
He was a hard worker who loved life. He drove a race car for a while when he was younger and worked a few different jobs throughout his life. He was employed at Smith Sawmill at the time of his death.
There will be a celebration of life at Boswell Park in Lebanon, Missouri on Saturday, July 29 at 2 p.m. for family and friends that knew him.
