Glenda J. Buntin (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Glenda Joann Buntin, daughter of the late Clifford Laud and Ethel (Karr) Vest was born on November 12, 1940 in Long Lane, MO and departed this life on November 15, 2018 at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, MO. At the time of her passing she was 78 years and 2 days of age.
Glenda was reared and attended school in Long Lane, MO and graduated from Buffalo High School. She was united in marriage to Charles Dugan in June of 1958 and to this union five children were born, four of whom survive her. They made their home in Windyville and had many years together before Charles passed away on October 3, 1983. She later met and married Johnny Buntin on April 4, 2004. Glenda was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, working on her flowers, gardening, and feeding and watching the birds. She was a member of the Community Bible Church in Galmey.
Glenda was preceded in death by her first husband Charles; her parents; one son, David Dugan; one daughter, Debra Harris; one granddaughter, Ashley Smith; and one sister, Linda Webb. She is survived by her husband Johnny of the home; four children, Debra & husband Steve Williams of Springfield, MO, Charles & wife Rosa Dugan of Wichita, KS, Cheryl Dugan of Blackburn, MO, and Amy & husband Russ Wisdom of Urbana, MO; four step-children, Michael & wife Sandy Dye of Buffalo, MO, Rickey & wife Nancy Dye of Winchester Gap, MO, Corrina & husband Martin Austin of Buffalo, MO, and Raymond & wife Kathy Buntin of Long Lane, MO; two brothers, Vernon & wife Lucille Vest of Joplin, MO and Gleamon & wife Betty Vest of Long Lane, MO; 24 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren. She also leaves other family members and many friends who will all truly miss her.
