Glenda Kay Hedgepath (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Glenda Kay Hedgepath, daughter of William G. and Martha Templeton Gladden, was born December 18, 1955, in Kansas City, Missouri. She departed this life Monday, December 24, 2018, in her home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-three years, and six days.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Mary.
Glenda is survived by four sons, Roger Hedgepath, of Lebanon, Missouri, Richard Hedgepath, and his wife, Pamela, of Kansas City, Missouri, Robert Hedgepath, and his wife, Rebekah, of St. Robert, Missouri, and John Hedgepath, and his wife, Jennifer, of Lebanon, Missouri; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Jones, of Lebanon, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Raytown, Missouri area. She then moved to Conway, Missouri, where she worked for the H. D. Lee Company for several years. Later, she worked as a cook at Bennett Springs Dining Lodge, and as a waitress at B & D Restaurant.
Glenda was a longtime member of Emmanuel Chapel Church near Lebanon.
In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, and doing crafts. She was greatly fond of her pet dogs and cats. She loved her family dearly and was very generous to her grandchildren.
Glenda was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
