She worked over twenty years for Pacific Theaters and twenty-five years at American Express where she retired from to move to Lebanon, Missouri with her husband, James. She went to work part-time for ten years at the Lebanon Wal-Mart, (which she jokingly called Wal-Mark). She also claimed she went to work part-time to get a break from James, adding, “if you know, you know.” She had a great sense of humor and was a fun person to be around.
Glenda was preceded in death by her husband, James Walker, on July 28, 2020; her parents; two sons, Michael and Joseph; and five brothers, Gerald, Johnny, Bill, Tom and Jimmy.
She is survived by her sons, Jim Walker and his wife, Gail Nichols of Phillipsburg, Missouri and Boomer Walker and his wife, Veronica Dennis of Glendale, Arizona; and five precious grandchildren, Beau, Shea, Logan, Dillon and Leighton.
Glenda’s life rotated around her family. She loved her grandchildren very much and looked forward to the time she could spend with them. She was loved by all that came in contact with her and she will be greatly missed.
