Glenn Curtis Reppert (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Glenn Curtis Reppert, age 36, of Nevada, Missouri, formerly of Fair Play, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Medicalodges of Nevada, Missouri from a lifelong battle with diabetes.
He was born January 18, 1974 in Macon, Georgia the son of John Howard Reppert and Nellie Sue (Fogarty) Reppert.
Glenn was a gentle man who only saw the good in all the people he knew. Although he did not possess many worldly possessions, he always shared what he had with others. He was an affectionate man who never spoke poorly of anyone. He was a selfless person who was not interested in riches, but in the love of his family and friends.
Glenn was a long time resident of Medicalodges in Nevada, Missouri where he was cherished and loved by all the residents and staff. The Medicalodges staff is greatly appreciated by all of Glenn’s family members for the great care and treatment that they gave him. He was truly happy there and always expressed his contentment about the friendships he had made and the care he received.
To his family, Glenn will be remembered as a man that met many obstacles in his life, but always thought of others first. He will be deeply missed and will always be remembered. His passion for life will live on through all the people that he came in contact with. Although, he is not here in body, he will be here in heart.
Glenn is survived by his parents, Howard and Sue Reppert of Fair Play, Missouri, his brother, John Howard Reppert and his wife Shelly Gilden of Bolivar, Missouri, a sister, Mary Alice Reppert of Bolivar, Missouri, his paternal grandmother, Laura Marie Williams of Lincoln, Missouri, four nephews, Johnny, Shawn, Blaine and Payton, one great niece, Brooklyn, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri with Reverend Lyle Shaulis officiating. Music will be “On The Wings Of A Dove” by Jeanette Graves & Rona Sukovaty, “When I Get Where I’m Going” by Brad Paisley & Dolly Parton” and “Life Ain’t Always Beautiful” by Gary Allan. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Bolivar, Missouri under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar. A visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00pm, Tuesday evening at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri. Pallbearers will be John Welch, Willie Welch, Charlie Welch, Johnny Reppert, Shawn Reppert and Cory Barrett.
