Glenn E. Little (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Glenn Ervin Little, son of Andrew and Gladys Parscale Little, was born August 7, 1946, near Niangua, Missouri. He departed this life Tuesday, March 8, 2016, in Webco Manor, in Marshfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty-nine years, seven months, and one day.
On August 14, 1980, he was united in marriage to Bonnie Lee Rexford and they shared the last thirty-five years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Cody Little; three brothers, Perry, Howard, and Wayne Little; and a sister, Mary Foley.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Bonnie, of the home; three sons, Landon Little, of Lebanon, Missouri, Chris Little, of Seymour, Missouri, and Rex Little, of Springfield, Missouri; two step-sons, Lonnie and Michael Richardson, both of Lebanon, Missouri; a grandson, Donavan Little, of Lebanon, Missouri; a granddaughter, Katrina Gore, of Strafford, Missouri; three great-grandchildren; four brothers, J. D. Little, and his wife, Vi, of Marshfield, Missouri, Jack Little, and his wife, Judy, of Lockhart, Texas, Don Little, and his wife, Barbara, of Avilla, Missouri, and Robert Little, and his wife, Virginia, of Niangua, Missouri; four sisters, Leona Wiley, Ann Wheeler, and her husband, Dale, Jean Young, and her husband, John, all of Marshfield, Missouri, and Grace McCormick, of Steelville, Missouri; a brother-in-law, Harry Foley, of Licking, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in the Niangua community, and graduated from Conway High School. While in high school he was active in Vocational Agriculture and chose to make welding his trade. He made his home in Lebanon for most of his life and worked as a welder in various locations. For the last twenty years he was employed by Waste Management as a welder and in other capacities.
Glenn had professed his faith in Christ and was an active member of Garfield Avenue Church of God for as long as his health allowed. His faith was very important to him and he had served as church Sunday school superintendent for several years.
He enjoyed being outdoors where his favorite activities were hunting and fishing. He was an outgoing person who made friends with everyone he met. He was very reliable and was always early. His family was very dear to him and he especially enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Glenn was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that his family and friends will treasure the wonderful memories he made for them during his lifetime.
A memorial has been established and contributions may be left at the funeral home.
