Glenna Ruth Daves, 79, was born on December 14, 1940 in Childress, Texas. She departed this life on December 8, 2020 in Springfield, Missouri.
Glenna was united in marriage to Donald Daves on July 3, 1958 in Clayton, New Mexico. They were blessed with two children, Debra and Bryan. She enjoyed playing bridge with friends and cooking for her family. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
Glenna is survived by her husband Donald of the home; her daughter, Debra and husband Tom French of Durant, OK; her son, Bryan and wife Sheila Daves of Buffalo, MO; four grandchildren, Shadley Gonzales and husband Jerrad of Stinnett, TX, Kaden French and wife Leaugeay, of Durant, OK, Stephanie Bailey and husband Spencer of Conway, MO, and Sharon Daves of Buffalo, MO; five great-grandchildren, Kyah and Sage French, Ryken and London Gonzales, and Sutton Bailey.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2020 in the Buffalo First Christian Church with Pastor Tim Case officiating. Escorts will be Spencer Bailey, Wyatt Sneed, Kaden French, Jarred Gonzales, David Hostetler, Jr., and Rodney Kropf. Honorary escorts will be Scott Baker, Archie Ritch, Sage French, Kyah French, London Gonzales, Sutton Bailey, and Ryken Gonzales. Interment will be in the Church Grove Cemetery under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. Visitation will be from 6:0-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Dallas County Library, the Ronald McDonald House or the American Cancer Society.
