Glynda Fay Crowder (Seymour)'s Obituary
Glynda Fay (Samuel) Crowder was born in Springfield, Missouri, on October 15, 1953, to Glenn and Lillian (Matney) Samuel. She grew up and attended school in Springfield and spent most of her life in the Ozarks. On July 4, 1992, she was united in marriage to Loren Crowder, Jr.
Glynda worked as a CNA for 17 years, and had several interests in life, not the least of which was a love for animals (especially her little Yorkie, Oliver). She loved to collect vintage items such as Jadite dishware, FireKing coffee cups and old canning jars.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, James Edward “Jim” Samuel.
She is survived by her husband, Loren; two daughters, Julie Samuel-Nelson and husband, John, of Herrin, Illinois, and Lori Brown and husband, Leon, of Douglas, Georgia; a son, Floyd Eugene Lockman and wife, Jammie, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, nieces, a nephew, many cousins, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
