Goldie Tina Louise Hale Gerloff (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Goldie Tina Louise Hale Gerloff, daughter of Ned Theodore and Catherine Bryant Orem, was born January 20, 1971, in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Sunday, December 18, 2016, in her home, near Tunas, Missouri, at the age of forty-five years, ten months, and twenty-nine days.
On June 3, 2016, she was united in marriage to Christopher Matthew Gerloff, and they shared the last six months.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Goldie is survived by her husband, Christopher, of Tunas, Missouri; two sons, Larry “Alex” Finley, of Tunas, Missouri, and Trenton Teubner, and his wife, Kayla, of St. Louis, Missouri; a daughter, Misty Barrett, of Springfield, Missouri; four grandchildren, Kaeden, Kaedence, Bentley, and Elliot; four brothers, Ronald Smith, and his wife, Josie, of Orlando, Florida, William Smith, and his wife, Alice, of Marshfield, Missouri, John Ray Smith, of Lebanon, Missouri, and James D. Beck, of Tunas, Missouri; three sisters, Judith Carter, of Roach, Missouri, Pheobe Barrett, and Michael L. Anderson, and her husband, Tim, all of Lebanon, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She born and raised in the Lebanon area, and attended Lebanon R-III Schools. She then made her home in Eldon, Missouri, where she worked for Fasco Industries for several years. Later, she moved to Tunas and made her home. Throughout the years, Goldie was a devoted homemaker to her family.
Goldie had attended the Family of God Church in Camdenton, Missouri.
In her spare time she enjoyed camping, listening to music, especially rock and roll and country, and also liked riding on Harley Davidson motorcycles. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
Goldie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
A memorial has been established and may be left at Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon.
