Aunt Goldie I love you deeply. While growing up, I spent a whole lot of time in your home. Have so many treasured memories. But the biggest and most precious memory of all. Was when I’d be over there taking a cooling off break. You would be there talking and making jokes. Then all of a sudden you would disappear. Then I would hear the muffled prayers coming from your bedroom. I would stand at the door as long as I could before getting caught. I’ll always cherish those prayers.
