Gwen Frances Redford (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Mrs. Gwen Frances Redford, age 73 of Springfield, MO died Friday, July 23, 2010 at her home in Springfield, MO. She was born on August 13, 1936 in Kalamazoo, MI the daughter of Frank C. Kautenberg and Hazel (Riggs) Kautenberg.
She was united in marriage to John Morgan Redford on July 25, 1969 in Decater, GA and to this union, one son was born.
Gwen was a retired Registered Nurse and a member of the St. Agnes Catholic Church in Springfield, MO. After retirement, she loved to paint. She had been a resident of Springfield for the past 10 years, but had lived in Springfield prior to living in other areas across the U.S.
Surviving is her son, John Morgan Redford, Jr. and wife Caroline of Framingham, MA; one sister, Lyn Parks of Columbia, S.C. three brothers-in-law, Courts Redford Jr. of Los Angeles, CA; David Redford of Tucker, GA; and William Redford of Decater, GA. Also four sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Teters of Bolivar, MO; Sylvia Peavy of Buford, GA; Rosemary McCord of Bolivar, MO and Jeanette Redford of Pell City, AL
Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the Greenwood Cemetery in Bolivar with Father Patrick Wissman officiating. Burial will be under the direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar.
