Hal Campbell (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Hal Franklin Campbell was born October 12, 1966, in Laurel, Mississippi, and departed this life Tuesday, January 8, 2013, in his home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of forty-six years, two months, and twenty-six days.
He was preceded in death by his biological father, Harold McIntosh; his wife, Karen Campbell; and a son, Christopher Allen Campbell.
Hal is survived by his significant other, Tonia Boykin, of Lebanon, Missouri; his mother, Deborah J. Logan, of Pell City, Alabama; four children, Joshua Campbell, of San Antonio, Texas, Ricky Campbell, Brittany Campbell, and Ashley Campbell, all of Joplin, Missouri; two sisters, Nicole Campbell, of Kuwait, and Lanae’ Delaney, of Montgomery, Alabama; a brother, Bern McIntosh, of Montgomery, Alabama; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was raised in the United Arab Emirates, and in Mississippi and North Carolina, where he attended high school. As a young adult, he worked in the oil fields, and then did building construction for several years. He had made his home in Lebanon, Missouri, for the last few months, and was still working in the construction business.
He had a pleasant disposition, liked everyone and always had a smile. He was a huge fan of the New Orleans Saints Football Team and greatly enjoyed watching their games on television. His family was very important to him and he especially enjoyed being with his children, mother, brother, sisters, and Tonia.
Hal was a loving son, father, significant other, brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
