Harold Dunker (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Harold Lee Dunker was born September 30, 1943, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Ruby Dunker.
He passed away Friday, February 20, 2026 in his home in Lebanon, Missouri at the age of eighty-two years, four months and twenty-one days. Harold was saved when he was a child at Vacation Bible School. His desire throughout his life was to see everyone come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
He was a member at Community Baptist Church. While working at Four Way Drive-In, Harold met Barbara Walters. They fell in love and on March 26, 1961, Harold and Barbara were united in marriage. They weathered life's storms and celebrated life's victories side by side.
After he was married, he went to work driving a truck for Hyman Freightway for thirty years. He retired when he was fifty years of age and he and Barbara moved to Lebanon where they enjoyed fishing as much as possible.
Harold enjoyed playing with his pets, especially his cat, Felicia. He and Barbara also enjoyed watching old shows, such as Laurel & Hardy, The Three Stooges, and western movies.
He is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Delilah Dunker. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly sixty-five years, Barbara Dunker of Lebanon, Missouri; his children, Ruby Wheeler and her husband Perry of Blue Springs, Missouri, Diane Dunker of Olathe, Kansas, Harold Dunker, Jr. of Texas, Cindy Chartier of Kansas City, Missouri and Ginger Dunker of Spring Hill, Kansas; his grandchildren, Mike Wheeler, Joe Wheeler, Tyler Wheeler, Jessica Jarman, Tina Jarmen, Jennifer Jarman and Joey Jarman; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Harold was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a good man who loved and trusted God, worked hard, and always tried to do the right thing. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
