Harold Richard Peterson (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Harold R. “Pete’’ Peterson, 76, of Lebanon, died Monday, March 31, 2014, at the Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital in Columbia.
He was born July 11, 1937, in Forest Lake, Minn. to Carl A. and Gladys Elizabeth Donovan Peterson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Kenneth Peterson.
For many years he owned and operated a large dairy farm in Minnesota before moving to Missouri. For a few years, he was employed by the Copeland Corporation in Lebanon.
He served his country faithfully in the United States Air Force for several years, and was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include three daughters, Tracie Robinson, of Lebanon; LaDena Hawkinson and her husband, John, of Chisago, Minn.; Vickie Peterson and her husband, Doug, of Stacy, Minn.; two sons, Kenny Peterson and his wife, Allison, of Houston, Texas, and Randy Hiltner and his wife, Jean, of Amery, Wis.; seven grandchildren, also two sisters, Dorothy, of Center City, Minn. and Marian, of the state of Texas.
Services and burial for Harold R. “Pete’’ Peterson will be in the Lutheran Cemetery in Center City, Minn., under the care and direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
Memorial donations to the V.F.W. Post No. 4107 Honor Guard may be made through the funeral home.
