Harold Earl Weaver (Seymour)'s Obituary
Harold was born 8/10/56 in Norfolk, VA. He died 8/18/2018 in Glenwood Healthcare, Seymour Mo from complications after a stroke. He lived most of his life in Seymour after his family moved from Goshen, IN in 1968.
He was a bright, hard working boy who loved hunting, fishing and finding mushrooms. He was great at all three, often finding mushrooms right where other people already searched! He loved music, teaching himself to play guitar in his early teens. When he was older he hosted regular jam sessions with his friends, many of whom could play multiple instruments. With the help of his friends Carl and Dave, he even built his own guitar! He also loved taking things apart and fixing them, something he shared with both of his brothers.
He was loyal to a fault, often getting involved in sticky situations most people would have refused to be involved in, but this was his way of supporting friends and family. He was also very generous, giving freely of his time and money, both to friends and family. There were many phone calls at all hours to go help someone with this or that. It was a rare occasion when he did not go, and no occasion when he did not give. “It’s only money” he would say. “I can always make more”.
He helped his mother support his disabled father for many years, while his siblings moved around, got married, and started their own families.
Although he never married, he loved the ladies, and they loved him right back!
He lived his life his way, and only a stroke could change that.
All who knew him well enjoyed being around him, listening to his music, crazy jokes and fascinating stories.
He will be greatly missed and just as greatly loved, but never forgotten.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Arvan and Nettie Weaver, oldest sister Clara Ramer, and oldest brother Robert Weaver. Surviving siblings are Dora Ramer and Eugene Weaver, both of Seymour.
Arrangements are incomplete at this time.
