Harry Butch Euler's Obituary
Harry “Butch” Ernest Euler, Jr., son of Harry Ernest, Sr., and Farrell Elizabeth Hilsabeck Euler, was born January 26, 1944, in Springfield, Missouri, and departed this life October 26, 2009, at his home in Mansfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty-five years and nine months. He was raised in the Mansfield area and graduated from Mansfield High School. Butch then joined the United States Air Force where he served in Tripoli and Libya during the Six Day War. He was united in marriage to Helen Hefner on July 16, 1964, and to this union one son and two daughters were born. After serving in the military, Butch and Helen returned to the Mansfield area where he was employed by Ozark Airlines and Ramey’s supermarket and worked the last twenty-seven years for Hutchen’s Industries, retiring in 2001. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Judy Morris; and a grandchild. Butch is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Helen; one son, Mark Euler and his wife Betty of Walnut Grove, Missouri; two daughters, Jana House and her husband John of Mansfield, Missouri, and Elizabeth Dougherty and her husband Mike of Macomb, Missouri; one granddaughter, Chelsea Jae House, who he loved to spoil; five step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Marilyn Adamson and her husband T.J. of Jerico Springs, Missouri; three brothers-in-law; a number of nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services and Burial will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday October 28, 2009 at the Mansfield Cemetery under the direction of the Holman-Howe Funeral home Mansfield, Missouri. Return to top
