Hazel Huff (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Hazel Earlene Huff, daughter of James Ervin and Ona McGuire Huff, was born August 2, 1937, in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Wednesday, September 22, 2010, in St. John’s Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-three years, one month, and twenty days.
She was preceded in death by her father, in 1973; and a sister, Florida Lee Huff.
Earlene is survived by her mother, Ona Huff, of Lebanon, Missouri; a brother James Huff, and his wife, Willa, of Lebanon, Missouri; two nephews, James Huff, Jr., and his wife, Angela, and Timothy Huff, and his wife, Brenda, all of Lebanon, Missouri; a niece, Rebecca Daniel, and her husband, Kenneth, of Lebanon, Missouri; several great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Lebanon area and attended the Gannon and Cook Schools. Because of her limited eyesight, she continued to make her home with her parents and helped in any way that she could. She especially loved to do embroidery and churn butter.
Her family was always the center of her life and she was not an “ordinary aunt” to her nephews and niece. She looked for them and greatly enjoyed spending time with them whenever possible.
Earlene was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt, and was a kind and caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and will cherish the wonderful memories she created for her family and friends.
