Hazel Janette Prock (Mansfield)'s Obituary
Hazel Janette Prock, daughter of Glenn and Bertha Garner Edwards, was born February 11, 1934 in Wright County, Missouri and departed this life on October 8, 2017 in Rocky Ridge Manor in Mansfield, Missouri at the age of eighty-three years, seven months and twenty-seven days.
She was united in marriage to Dane Prock and to this union a daughter was born.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dane, daughter, Debbie, three brothers, Anvis, Robert, and Carles Edwards.
Janette is survived by two sisters-in-law, Mary Belle Edwards and Ann Edwards Cox; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was raised in the St. George area northeast of Hartville and attended the Cope school. Janette waited for Dane to get home from the Army and they went to Eureka Springs, Arkansas and got married. They moved to Illinois where they lived most of their adult life. She worked in a factory and was a homemaker and after Dane’s passing in February 2013, she moved to Mansfield.
Janette had made a profession of faith in Christ and had attended Freewill Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and crocheting.
Janette was a loving person who will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
