Heidi Aubrey (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Heidi Ann Marie Aubrey, daughter of Leo Albert Aubrey, Jr. and Christel Helene Braun Aubrey, was born December 27, 1964, in Frankfurt, Germany. She departed this life Monday, April 3, 2017, in Veterans Memorial Hospital, in Loma Linda, California, at the age of fifty-two years, three months, and four days.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Heidi is survived by a sister, Christina Henry, and her husband, Richard, of Fredericksburg, Virginia; three brothers, John Aubrey, of Pilot Grove, Missouri, Fred Aubrey, of Atlanta, Georgia, and Eric Aubrey, of Bettendorf, Iowa; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born in Germany, as her father was serving in the United States Army. She attended school at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and Lebanon R-III Schools. Prior to joining the military service, Heidi worked for several years for the H. D. Lee Company in Lebanon. She joined the United States Navy in 1986, and served six years on active duty with assignments at Norfolk, Virginia, Australia, and San Diego, California. Heidi was a dental technician and really enjoyed her service with the Navy. She also served in the Navy Reserves for several years. Heidi graduated from San Diego State University in 2000 with a B.S. Degree in cellular microbiology. She had made her home in California for the last several years and was working in the research field for several medical laboratories doing DNA analysis and various gene studies.
She was an active person and knew how to ride a motorcycle. She learned Tae-Kwon-Do, liked to rappel and go hiking. She maintained her fitness with long bicycle rides and enjoyed visiting sites of interest.
Heidi will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
