Helen Baldwin (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Margurett “Helen” Baldwin was born near Taberville, Missouri on December 10, 1931 and departed this life in Buffalo, Missouri on June 9, 2018. At the time of her passing she was 86 years, 5 months and 29 days of age.
Helen was united in marriage to Lawrence D. Baldwin in Nevada, Missouri on December 24, 1948. They made their home in Nevada, Missouri until 1963 when they moved to Garland, Texas. Helen then moved to Buffalo, Missouri after Lawrence passed away in 1992.
Helen worked for keys for 15 years in Nevada. She then worked for Loom Treasures until they closed and then she started work at J.C Penny until she retired in 1994. She loved to garden, sew and in her later years she developed a love for quilting. She was a member of Buffalo First Assembly of God.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence Baldwin; four brothers, John, Everett, Opher “Bill”, and Robert Greer; two sisters, Dorothy McNeese and Betty Sheldon. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Veverka; two granddaughters, Rachael Silipino and Lisa Bettencourt; one brother, Charles Greer; one grandson, Dakota Veverka; four great-grandchildren, P. Michael McDaniel, Gavin Silipino, Dawson Silipino, and Kelsey Waterman; and five step great-grandchildren.
