Helen Irene Hanni (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Helen Irene Hanni, daughter of the late Harry Edmund and Serena Hulda (Miller) Neiger was born on February 12, 1920 in Stone Creek, Ohio and departed this life on March 3, 2021 in Lebanon, MO. At the time of her passing she was 101 years and 18 days of age.
Helen enjoyed sewing, making crafts, repairing furniture, and writing poetry. She was united in marriage to Oscar Hanni on February 26, 1944 and to this union four children were born, all of whom survive her. Helen worked for Dura Products and Timkin Roller Bearings while living in Ohio.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Oscar Hanni; her parents; five brothers, Raymond, Glen, John, Charles, and Ralph; three sisters, Ruth Gowins, Betty Welshenbaugh, and Doris Harper; and one great-granddaughter, Veronica Duke. She is survived by three sons, John Hanni of Lebanon, MO, Arthur Hanni of Lebanon, MO, and Paul Hanni of Flagler Beach, FL; one daughter, Elizabeth & husband Archie Cable of Louisburg, MO; one sister, Esther Gowins of Ohio; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves other family members and many friends who will all truly miss her.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 8, 2021 in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens of Memory.
