After moving to the area, she became a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church of Lebanon where she was a faithful parishioner for a number of years until her health began to fail.
Helen Nowaczynski (Busia) was a loving wife and mother, a caring and adoring grandmother, and a dear sister and friend. Growing up, her granddaughters called her “Busia,” which is Polish for Grandmother. She was Busia from the time they learned to talk. Helen will be fondly remembered for her adventurous spirit and love of travel which took her all over the world. She will be sadly missed, but a lifetime of moments and memories will be forever cherished by family and friends.
