Helen Robinett's Obituary
A glorious re-union has taken place at the gates of heaven as Helen Mae Krause Robinett entered there on July 19, 2008 at 5:55pm. Helen Mae Krause was born April 22, 1924 to Leslie Jerome and Dessie Inez Krause at Hartville, MO. Helen was raised in the Indian Creek area north of Hartville and professed her faith in Christ at a young age. She excelled in school and her favorite subject was spelling and throughout her life she talked of the days of the 'spelling bees' at school and how she enjoyed participating in them. Through her life, she was a voracious reader, enjoying classic literature and studying the royal family. On October 1, 1946 she was united in marriage to Joe H. Robinett in Mtn. Home, AR. To this union three daughters and one son were born. Helen and Joe started their life together on the Robinett family farm east of Hartville, moved to St. Louis for a short time, then moved to Cowden, IL where Joe taught school and coached the basketball team. In 1957 they again moved and settled in Dragerton, UT where Joe taught in the local school system, and Helen lovingly raised their family and took care of their home. Seventeen years later, they returned home to Hartville in the fall of 1973. Helen loved to do handwork, crocheting, embroidery work, ceramics and other hobbies. She also loved her flowers and nature, loved to visit and cook for her friends and family and enjoyed traveling.
