Helen Tatum (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Helen Rae Tatum, daughter of the late John and Etta (Cheatham) Huff was born on September 8, 1943 in Birch Tree, MO and departed this life on April 8, 2020 in Buffalo, MO. At the time of her passing she was 76 years and 6 months of age.
Helen was a born again, God fearing, no nonsense, down to earth woman. She was a good mother who loved her family dearly. She was also an avid reader. She was united in marriage to Edward Tatum, Sr. in October of 1969.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband Edward; one daughter, Christine; two stepsons, Edward Tatum, Jr. and Thomas Tatum; and five sisters, Mary Etta, Mildred, Velma, Lucille, and Judy. She is survived by her son, Buck and his wife Donna Tatum, two stepsons, Robert and Jeffrey Tatum; one sister, Billie Redding; nine grandchildren, Zachary and his wife Christi, Raymond, Holly, Caleb, William, Hailey, Hannah, Amanda and her husband Rick, and Heather; and nine great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Corin, Alex, Jordyn, Peyton, Charity, Johnathan, Aiden, and Addie. She also leaves other family members and many friends who will all truly miss her.
Cremation rites were accorded under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
