Hilda Bleck's Obituary
Hilda Bertha Bleck, daughter of Friedrich and Anna Katherine Werbeich Bleichroth, was born May 26, 1921, in Mansfield, Wisconsin. She departed this life Monday, October 2, 2006, in Windsor Estates, Camdenton, Missouri, at the age of eighty-five years, four months and six days. On August 24, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois, she was united in marriage to William Henry Bleck and to this union three children were born. He preceded her in death on March 7, 1992 after fifty-one years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, William R. Bleck and seven siblings. Hilda is survived by a son, Jim Bleck and his wife, Judy, of League City, Texas; a daughter, Peggy Heidelberg and her husband, Larry, of Whitehall, Michigan; a daughter-in-law, Bev Bleck of Camdenton; six grandchildren, Richard Bleck of St. Louis, Missouri, Rob Bleck and his wife, Melissa, of Camdenton, Missouri and Susan Perryman and her husband, Mark, of St. Louis, Missouri; Jennifer Lindell and her husband, Jeff, of North Muskegon, Michigan, Vikki Heidelberg of Lovington, Michigan and Keith Heidelberg and his wife, Ashley, of North Whitehall, Michigan; eleven great-grandchildren, Katie Aslan, Haley Bleck, Brooklynne Bleck, Anna Perryman, Jackie Bleck, Tyler Crow, Jake Perryman, Brandon Lindell, Riley Bleck, Tyler Lindell and Natalee Lindell; two sisters, Lillian Rodseth of Muskegon, Michigan and Frieda Hofmann and her husband, Charles, of the State of Florida; and other relatives and friends. She was raised in Chicago, Illinois and attended school there. After her marriage, she and her husband made their home in Chicago, where they raised their family. Besides being a devoted wife and homemaker, she had worked as an executive assistant for a publishing company and for the A.O. Smith Company before retiring. She and her husband retired to the lake area in 1982. Hilda had made her profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Camdenton. She loved to sing and was a member of the Sweet Adeline’s as well as a member of the church choir. She and her husband had been members of the Chicago Power Squadron boating club and enjoyed time spent together on the water. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and traveling. Hilda was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she created for her family and friends. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2006, in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Camdenton. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6 - 8:00 p.m.under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri. Memorials to Our Savior's Lutheran Church or Windsor Estates Court Yard Fund may be made through the funeral home.
