Hilda Taylor's Obituary
Hilda Mae Boulton Taylor was born May 16, 1931 to George Clifford & Pearl Louise Adamson Boulton in Louisa County, Iowa. On July 14, 1950, Hilda was united marriage to George O. Taylor and they had 46 wonderful years of marriage before George’s passing on September 30, 1996. Hilda was called home by her Lord on March 20, 2010 at 1:15 P.M. in Rocky Ridge Manor near Mansfield, where she had resided for the last 14 years. She was saved at an early age and loved the Lord dearly. Hilda and George spent their lives serving the Lord through missions. Their ministries included public school assemblies, mission trips to Haiti and Bible camps at various churches throughout Missouri and Arkansas. They were known for their puppet shows throughout their ministry. Hilda continued service to the Lord after George’s home going until the Lord called her home. Hilda was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two step-mothers, Alta & Martha; granddaughter, Elizabeth; great-grandson, Caleb; and a daughter-in-law, Rose. She is survived by her son, Tom Taylor and his wife Linda of Buffalo, Missouri; great-grandsons, Adam & Ben Ingerson of Mtn. Grove; two granddaughters, Rebecca Ward and husband John of Waynesville, Missouri and Mary VanOrden and her husband Robert and their children, Andrew, Austin, Abigail & Alyssa of Ava, Missouri; her brother, Harold Boulton and his wife Billie of Wapello, Iowa; a sister, Letha McCulley and her husband Dean of Columbus Junction, Iowa as well as a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. For those she left behind, she will greatly missed, but rest assured she is in Heaven with Jesus. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday March 24, 2010 at the Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Mansfield. Burial will be in the Brushyknob Cemetery. Visitation is 6-7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening under the direction of the Holman-Howe Funeral Home Mansfield, Missouri. Return to top
