Hollis Trenary's Obituary
Mr. Hollis Wayne Trenary, age 85, of Bolivar, Missouri passed away on Monday, January 23, 2012 at Citizen?s Memorial Healthcare Facility in Bolivar, Missouri.
He was born September 30, 1926 in Halfway, Missouri, the son of Roy James Trenary and Erma A. (Hunter) Trenary.
Hollis was a self-employed laborer doing many odd jobs including lawn care and maintenance work. He was a member of the New Bethel Methodist Church just South of Halfway, Missouri.
He enjoyed setting outside of Dan & Stan?s Pharmacy with his brother just people watching. He was a man with a great heart and willing to help when he was needed.
Hollis is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Wilbur and Harold.
Hollis is survived by his sister; Wilma Graves of Bolivar, Missouri, three nephews; Bill Graves of Bolivar, Missouri, James Trenary of Bolivar, Missouri and Bob Trenary of Evans, Colorado and one niece; Carrol Ball of Kansas City, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Friday morning, January 27, 2012 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri. Musical selections will be ?Amazing Grace?, ?How Great Thou Art? and ?The Old Rugged Cross?. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery just South of Halfway, Missouri. A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00am on Friday morning just prior to service time at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Ball, Rick Ball, James Trenary, Bill Graves, Michael Bouling, and Craig Meyer.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Carl Coppage and Kent Brummell.
