Howard Sanders' Obituary
On Thursday, December 22, 2011 the Lord Jesus Christ called his humble servant Howard Dale Sanders to his heavenly home, at the age of sixty-six years and three months. Although we will miss him, we are rejoicing in his homecoming knowing that through our Savior, we will meet again.
Son of Alpha Buck and Ernest Sanders, Howard was born September 22, 1945 in Reynolds County, Missouri. He grew up in Webster County, graduating from Fordland High School. In 1965, Howard enlisted in the United States Army, faithfully serving his country during the Vietnam Conflict.
On January 27, 1966, Howard married the love of his life, Linda Carol Bryant and to this union they were blessed with two sons. Following his discharge from the service Howard and Linda returned to start a family in the Seymour area. Working for Positronics Industries, Howard provided for his family, and lovingly raised his boys. After 17 years of working at 3M, he retired and devoted his time to his grandchildren.
In 1999, Howard accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior, and became a member of the Seymour Freewill Baptist Church. We know that the man he became pleased his heavenly father and prepared the way for his sons.
Howard found favor by working with his hands; he enjoyed making things for his grandchildren and fixing things at home. He was the cornerstone of his family and he loved them dearly.
He is preceded in death by his mother Alpha Buck Williams; his step-father Everett Williams; his father Ernest Sanders; his brother Larry (Sunny) Sanders; and his sister Carol Southwick.
Howard is survived by his devoted wife of forty-five years, Linda Sanders of the home; his sons Bradley Dale Sanders and wife Joleen of Seymour, Missouri and Toby Scott Sanders and wife Jaimie, of Seymour, Missouri; his grandchildren, Tiffany Owens, Hailee Sanders, Journee Sanders, Nicholas Kaczmar, Dakota Sanders, Gabrella Sanders, Izabella Sanders, Eli Sanders; his great-grandchildren John Owens, Isabella Owens, and Brycen Owens; his loving sister Pat Winder of Fordland, Missouri , his sister-in-law Ethal Sanders- Kuntz of Ellington, Missouri; his brother-in-law Joe Bill Bryant and wife Connie of Springfield, Missorui; his mother-in-law Goldie Bryant of Seymour, Missouri; a number of nieces, nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
Faith and family was the heart of Howard Dale Sanders, his children, grandchildren, family and friends have a wonderful legacy to carry on. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories he created for us all.
