Howard Dean Weaver (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Howard Dean Weaver, son of Rev. Ernest Weaver and Mary Ballard Weaver, was born April 4, 1945, in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Sunday, November 27, 2022, in Mercy Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-seven years, seven months, and twenty-three days.
On May 7, 1977, he was united in marriage to Christine Moore, and to this union one daughter and three sons were born.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant child; an infant brother; three infant sisters; and two sisters, Louise and Irene.
Howard is survived by his loving wife of forty-five years, Christine, of the home, near Niangua, Missouri; a daughter, Sandra Doan, and her husband, Herbert, of Olathe, Kansas; three sons, Paul Weaver, of Niangua, Missouri, Howard Dean Weaver, II, and Melissa, of Grovespring, Missouri and James Dean Weaver, “J.D.”, and his wife, Teresa, of Halfway, Missouri; five grandchildren, Elijah, and his wife, Vero, Hailey, James, Abby, and Ashlynn; four great-grandchildren, Ezekial, Lucas, Matthew, Alayna; three brothers, Everett Weaver, and his wife, Lola, of Springfield, Missouri, Greg Weaver, and his wife, Bonnie, and Clifford Weaver, all of Lake Ozark, Missouri; three sisters, Shirley Ballard, Ewana Weaver, both of Lebanon, Missouri, and Kathy Angst, and her husband, Doug, of Phillipsburg, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; his best friend, Robert “Bob” McClimon, of Grovespring, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He lived his entire life in the Grovespring community. He owned and operated a farm for most of his life and also worked at Independent Stave Company, now Missouri Cooperage, for thirty-three years.
He liked being outdoors where he enjoyed horseback riding, working with his cattle, cutting hay, and rabbit and coon hunting. His life rotated around his family and his farm.
Howard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and was a caring friend. We celebrate his life and know his family and friends will treasure the wonderful memories he made with them during his lifetime.
