Howard Weber (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Howard Paul Weber of Lebanon, Missouri, was born April 29, 1948 in Lebanon, Missouri to Fred A. Weber and Myrtle Dowden Weber. He went to his eternal home Saturday, October 7, 2023. At the time of his passing, he was seventy-five years, five months and eight days.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Delvin, Calvin and Oris Weber; his sister, Doris Pate.
He is survived by his wife, Hope Weber of the home; two sons, Paul Weber and his wife, Joanie of Lynchburg, Missouri and Steve Weber and his wife, Brandy of Republic, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Austin and his wife, Lauren, Nathan and his wife, Keisha, Logan, Audrey, Noah, Justin and his wife, Mikhila, Jacob and Aaron; four great-grandchildren, Elijah. Anna, Axton and Luna one on the way, Carter; a brother, Dean Weber of Plato, Missouri and two sisters, his twin, Helen Barnes of Mountain Grove, Missouri and Lola Thompson of Collierville, Tennessee.
Howard spent his early years in the Competition and Plato, Missouri areas. On November 17, 1969, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Hope Mathis. To this union, two sons were born, Paul and Steve.
They made their home in the Kansas City, Missouri, later moving to Raytown, Missouri. He was employed at University of Missouri, Kansas City (UMKC) in the maintenance department for thirty years. He and Hope returned to Lebanon in 2000.
Howard was an avid Kansas Chiefs football fan and also enjoyed fishing. He liked being outdoors and growing a wonderful garden. You could often find him sitting on his front porch, just watching nature. He had a regimented routine of calling people every day, demonstrating how he put others first. He always welcomed everyone into his home.
His life revolved around his family. He especially cherished his grandchildren and looked forward to spending time and making memories with them.
Howard’s dedication and loyalty will be forever etched on the lives of those he touched.
