Howard "Sam" Woodruff (Seymour)'s Obituary
Howard “Sam” Woodruff was born August 18, 1937 to Howard Irving Woodruff and Marian Maude (Nelson) Woodruff in Plainfield, New Jersey. He passed from this life on May 6, 2017.
He was married to Shirley and together they had three children, Michael, John and Sheila. He had two children with Debra Fellers who survive him, Jeremy Woodruff and Nathan Woodruff.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his third wife Patricia Woodruff.
Sam enjoyed all outdoor activities such as camping, gardening and he loved his flowers. He enjoyed classical music, landscaping and painting landscape scenes. As well he enjoyed writing poems and was working on a book.
Sam was well known as a great cook and he owned restaurants called Country Kitchen and Scooters.
He will be greatly missed by a host of family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Please send donations to the Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Seymour to help pay for Sam’s final expenses.
