Ida Keeney (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Ida Keeney, daughter of Hiram and Maggie Reagan Gregory, was born April 20, 1917, in Camden County, Missouri. She departed this life Wednesday, November 17, 2010, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri, at the age of ninety-three years, six months and twenty-eight days.
On December 31, 1937, in Camden County, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Arthur Robert Keeney and to this union, five children were born. Together they shared nearly thirty-seven years of marriage before his passing on November 11, 1974.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Lois May Keeney; seven brothers, and three sisters.
Survivors include her children, James Keeney and wife Sandy, Joyce Eidson and husband Bob, Kenneth Keeney and Bill Keeney and wife Shawnee, all of Camdenton, Missouri; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Ida was a life-long resident of Camden County. She was a homemaker and help-mate to her husband.
Ida made a profession of faith and was a member of Decaturville Missionary Baptist Church.
She loved flowers and gardening. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends.
