Ida Rogers (Bolivar) 's Obituary
Ida Emogene Rogers (Jean), 93 of Huron, Missouri passed over to our lord on May 15, 2015 in her home.
Jean was born to Alfred and Artie Belle (Payne) Beem in Huron, Missouri on June 16, 1921. Gene was born and raised in Huron until she became an adult and moved to California. There she met her husband Ray Rogers. They wed November 3, 1944 then proceeded to live in Klamath Falls, Oregon and Fortuna, California.
Gene was known to enjoy the outdoors including gardening, hunting and fishing. Gene also loved to travel around the United States to places like Yellowstone Park. She decided to settle in Huron, Missouri in June of 1992 where she built a house on her family farm.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia R Cole, grandson Kevin Cole and his sons Bryce and Peyton, grandson Shawn Cole and his wife Amanda, and grandson Bryan Cole and his wife Paula and their children Braelyn and Tallen. She is preceded in death by her husband Ray Rogers, half-sister, Cuba McCracken, and brother, Lenville Beem.
