Ila Robertson's Obituary
Ila Marie Robertson, daughter of Jesse and Dora (Jordan) Robertson, was born August 11, 1929, on the family farm outside of Hartville. She departed this life August 23, 2010, in Hartville Care Center, in Hartville, Missouri, at the age of eighty-one years and twelve days.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Ila is survived by her sister, Bess Boettcher and her husband, Lee, of Palm City, Florida; her brother, Russell Robertson and his wife, Dorthy, of Hartville, Missouri; three nephews and two nieces; several great-nieces and nephews; as well as great-great-nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Ila lived most of her life on the farm, gardening and taking care of her parents until their passing. She was a member of the Durbin Church of Christ and later attended Shaddy Chapel.
She enjoyed making quilts, embroidery and growing beautiful flowers. She loved to visit with her family and friends. Her nieces and nephews fondly remember the stories she told, long walks on the farm, and the games they played together.
Ila will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her, but will live on in our hearts forever.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday August 27, 2010 in Holman-Howe Funeral Home, with visitation starting at noon Friday until service time.
burial will be in Durbin Cemetery.
