Ima "Elaine" Price (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Ima “Elaine” Price was born May 27, 1951 in Lebanon, Missouri to Anthony G. and Ima June Clemens Broyles. She passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2026 in Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri at the age of seventy-five years and seven days.
Elaine grew up in Lebanon in the Oakland Community and graduated from Lebanon High School. She began her career working as a clerk with the Department of the Army at Fort Leonard Wood. In her twenty-seven year career in Civil Service, she worked in Germany and El Paso, Texas before returning to Fort Leonard Wood.
On July 16, 1983, she was united in marriage to Jesse Price. Together they have weathered life’s storms and celebrated life’s victories for nearly forty-three years.
Elaine is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony Dean and Ima June; and her sister, Donna West.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jesse Price; three sons, Brad Ross, Anthony William Price, both of Phillipsburg, Missouri, and Bobby Price of Greenwood, Indiana; her daughter, Dawn Michelle Price of Columbus, Indiana; fifteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her sister, Carmen Melton of St. Augustine, Florida; and other relatives and friends.
Elaine followed the Baptist faith and attended Ozark Bible Baptist Church.
Elaine loved bowling and was active is several leagues throughout the years. She was also a proud member of the D.A.V.
She was a devoted wife and mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. Elaine enjoyed traveling with her husband in the military and making memories and friends everywhere she went. Most of all, she cherished each of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought great joy to her life. Her home was a haven of warmth, love, and laughter, where countless memories were created and treasured.
Funeral services for Ima "Elaine" Price will be Monday, June 8, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. A memorial to the D.A.V. has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
